About the Director
Jim Taihuttu is a renowed Dutch filmmaker who has quickly made a name for himself in the international film scene. His films are known for their gritty realism, their exploration of complex social issues, and their vibrant visual style.
Taihuttu was born in Venlo, Netherlands, in 1981. He began his career as a DJ and music producer, and he still works under the name Yellow Claw. However, he soon turned his attention to filmmaking, and he made his directorial debut with the short film Dominique in 2011.
