MVSA design for Amsterdam Sloterdijk
MVSA renowed architects from Amsterdam Netherlands in 2011 made a redesign fo the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Transport Hub. Once just transfer points, stations around the world are evolving into vibrant hubs. This trend has accelerated in the Netherlands with the arrival of high-speed trains. Cities like Breda, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Arnhem are undergoing major transformations. Their stations are expanding and adapting to accommodate these new trains, but the changes go beyond just infrastructure. These stations are becoming multifunctional and multimodal centers, offering a wider range of services and amenities. This significantly enhances their functionality as public transport hubs. Imagine stations that are not just places to catch a train, but modern business districts and inviting social spaces. That’s the future these Dutch stations are embracing.
